uhh, no you don't need to run messenger with compatbility mode for the above guide. you just follow the steps precisely and run it....no need for any compatbility mode.

i always use this version too, but it makes my cpu load 100% after ~1h of videocall i dont know if it is from me or from this version of messenger, so if someone got the same issue i would like to know thx

Not to burst anyones bubble but the new one in Windows Live Essentials is not bloatware from what I have seen. I know the older one was but this one is good and hell, it does not bug and still start up when you login like the other one did lol.
