    I'm all right with the update, though yes it's pretty bloated. And there is no full featured A-Patch for it yet :glare:

    Run msnmsgr.ex with Compatibility Mode "Windows 2000"

    uhh, no you don't need to run messenger with compatbility mode for the above guide. you just follow the steps precisely and run it....no need for any compatbility mode.

    i always use this version too, but it makes my cpu load 100% after ~1h of videocall
    i dont know if it is from me or from this version of messenger, so if someone got the same issue i would like to know

    Not to burst anyones bubble but the new one in Windows Live Essentials is not bloatware from what I have seen. I know the older one was but this one is good and hell, it does not bug and still start up when you login like the other one did lol.
