I have setup my start menu tiles and organized them to my liking, is there a way to save this now in case I format so I can restore it back?

Sorry no you can't because Microsoft doesn't synchronize start menu with windows 10.

    PowerShell:
    Code:
    Export-StartLayout

    Import-StartLayout

I think Import-StartLayout is applicable only in a mounted Windows Image and not for online Windows installation...

    Haven't tested it though...

Of course the import for offline only
BTW, Win10 no longer have start layout as .bin file, export will always generate .xml
