How does OfficeRTool use VLMCSD for activation? I assume it's running VLMCSD.exe -S (and indeed the file is present in SYSTEM32), but I can't actually see the service installed in services.msc, nor anywhere in the registry... I'd like to know because I need to preemptively whitelist the file/process in antivirus. Thanks, and great tool. I commented out the OS detection line, and was still able to download what I needed on this XP machine to burn to a DVD.
When I try running the .cmd file in terminal I am met with a bunch of errors saying a command is not found. I was wondering if there is a fix to this?
You would add to the script information about the size of the office picked from the branch selected + information how much was downloaded with the information in percentage and size ?
And It has been fixed. Just got new 16.0.9115.2007 with update issue solved. Everything now is back to how it was.
Unimportant theoretical problem. How do I set up OfficeClickToRun.exe to work with local cdnbaseurl (for example cdnbaseurl = "E: \ upd")? = not working (exit OfficeClickToRun.exe) but Install with cdnbaseurl (http) + set registry cdnbaseurl=E: \ ms + check update = working Spoiler: not working cmd Code: "%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun\OfficeClickToRun.exe"^ cdnbaseurl="E:\upd"^ baseurl="E:\ms"^ version=16.0.9001.2171^ platform=x64^ productstoadd=ProplusRetail_cs-cz_x-none^ proplusRetail.excludedapps=access, publisher, groove, lync, onenote, onedrive^ deliverymechanism=492350f6-3a01-4f97-b9c0-c7c6ddf67d60 pause (baseurl local working, baseurl url working, cdnbaseurl url working, but cdnbaseurl local not working (= install not working, but update working), why?).
Did you check logs to find the error? cdnbaseurl defines the update source (set by channel) for local i think it's accepted for Download mode only besides, it called CDNbaseurl, meaning it only accept cdn url
Spoiler: LOG Code: Click-To-Run Error axik2 Unexpected UrlSettingValidator::Validate {..., "ContextData": "Invalid Url: \"E:\\upd\""} Click-To-Run Non Task Error bjbzl Unexpected Settings::PersistSetting {..., "ErrorCode": 29, "ErrorType": "", "AppVErrorSource": "", "ErrorMessage": "", "ErrorDetails": "", "ContextData": "(\"E:\\upd\") is not valid for Setting Type (3) from Store (Scenario\\INSTALL)"} Click-To-Run annt0 Medium ExecutionContext::ResetExecutingScenario - Reset executing scenario Click-To-Run Non Task Error aqkhb Unexpected StandaloneStartupBehavior::QueueOrResumeScenario {..., "ErrorCode": 30029, "ErrorType": "InvalidArgument", "AppVErrorSource": "", "ErrorMessage": "InvalidArgument (Settings::PersistSetting: (\"E:\\upd\") is not valid for Setting Type (3))", "ErrorDetails": "", "ContextData": "Failed to Queue the scenario."} Not valid for install scenario. Why does this work: installation with cdnbaseurl cdn url, set: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration CDNBaseUrl=E:\upd ... and check update. And the update works from E:\upd But Why is CDNBaseUrl E:\upd not valid during installation?

Did I understand correctly? Step 1. I must Download this link officecdn.microsoft.com/pr/492350f6-3a01-4f97-b9c0-c7c6ddf67d60/media/en-us/O365ProPlusRetail.img
You mean in OfficeRTool? by checking the script it seems to be started manually for activation, no service or installation is done Code: start /min vlmcsd.exe -P 1688 -A 4300 -R 4300 -C 1033 -De -r1
