So right now it's not possible to activate Office on Insider Builds? Even if I do the token method? Just want to confirm.
Iirc @ratzlefatz already tested O16 on Insider builds successfully. My answer was regarding the Windows key confusion.

Could you enter the command into the script, which would automatically write to the .ini file to enter the download path manually? Currently you have to manually enter your path in the .ini file, because the script does not remember it automatically
??? - OfficeRTool.ini holds download-path (contains "not set" at first start as default) - OfficeRTool reads download-path at startup from OfficeRTool.ini - Now you do not use preselected download-path in (D) function and enter a different, new one - OfficeRTool compares old and new location on (E)xit and -only if changed- asks if new location should be saved to OfficeRTool.ini - If you enter "1" (or simply press return as "1" is preselected) then new location is saved to OfficeRTool.ini overwriting old location - New location will be used at next start I did not see your problem here....
Is KMSpico only way to activate Office 2016 after Windows 10 1803 Update? My office 2016 was activated but after I've installed Windows 1803, It became de-activated. Any suggestion?
For people who are not able to see/use "Morph" transition effect and the "Black" theme on Office 2016, i accidentally find a way to fix it. You will need OfficeRTool and Office C2R Install by Ratiborus 1) Make sure Office 2016 or Office 365 is installed (With no morph transition or black theme after being activated) 2) Open Office C2R Install - Click on 'Utilities' tab - Click on 'Office 2013-2016 License Setup' 3) A new program windows will appear, wait a little and then click 'Refresh' on the bottom right 4) Uncheck all Office 2016 licenses and then check the 'Delete all keys' and all 'O365BussinessRetail: XXXX' box (there's 5 licenses of it) 5) Make sure no other licenses checked - Then, click on 'Setup' - Wait a little until it's done then close the program 6) Open OfficeRTool and choose 'Convert office retail to volume' - Wait until it's done 7) Close the program and open any Office 2016 app (especially PowerPoint) 8) Voila! The black theme and the morph transition will appear Sorry for no screenshot or download link, i'm not allowed to attach it as a new member
Seems, you have manually edited the ini. Default entry is "not set " - watch the space! It will work correct, if ini is changed by OfficeRTool. To make it work on your system, add a additional space at the end of the line. Must look like this "D:\Downloads\Programs\Office16 " (without the quotes "")
You can get the same only by using OfficeRTool. - Go to \%OfficeRTool-Installfolder%\OfficeFixes\win_x32 (or \win_64, based on your OS) - Rightclick "cleanospp.exe" and run as administrator ->Office Licenses and keys will be cleared from system - Start OfficeRTool - Then (C) CONVERT OFFICE RETAIL TO VOLUME - Afterwards use (K) START KMS ACTIVATION
At the first start-up, "No set" is known but the path entered for the first time is not added to the .ini file and until it is done manually it will always be "no set"
You have read my post? I have now completed several changes to download path and ini-file is always changed by OfficeRTool if you leave the program by (E). Do you close window by click on (X) ? Then nothing will be saved. Are there any other users having this "no save" problem?
You could re-activate Office via KMS after every Windows Update. I manually checked licenses and stay activated.
Hi, Sorry. I couldn't understand it. Should I use KMSpico? Which KMS and which method you are talking about. Normally, I was activating it by phone. Is there still oppurtunity to activate it over phone. I don't want to install additional things to activate it.
I always read your posts, by the way, OfficeRtool should be in the first post so that new users do not have to look for it I already know why I did not write changes: P I was closing on "X" and not on "E"
