Why MDL makes asterisks (*****) instead of GENERIC Windows 10 professional MAK key (-*****) and instead of generic retail (-3V66T), oem (-8HV2C) and vl (-T83GX) not makes asterisks?
Why MDL makes asterisks instead of slc.dll (slshim.dll) link in cmd? The original source code slc.dll (slshim.dll) is also on the github. Why does MDL external link to slc.dll (slshim.dll) in cmd is problem but link to SppExtComObjHook.dll and SppExtComObjPatcher.exe problem is not?

it installs office 2019 preview edition and it will get inactivated on 12/31/2018, what is the point of doing license conversion then?

Seems to be hidden under the ... right beside the Start button on the Download section (above the language choices).

Just for info:
Seems, timebomb restriction (2018/12/31) and Preview branding were removed from Office 2019.
At least it was not found in build 16.0.10707.20000 installed from Dogfood_Devmain channel.

Same channel. Mine had Preview removed from previous (16.0.10705) but now with today's update to 16.0.10707.20000 the Preview branding was added back again. This is also on Dogfood_Devmain.

Same channel and build. No branding here.

Maybe, because I have converted Office to new _AE licenses.
