You can install volume licenses with slmgr.vbs/ospp.vbs

but you can't rid of retail licenses without cleanospp.exe (which is by the way Microsoft tool, but not official)

@abbodi1406 , turns out, if i compile the au3 script for (x64) it works fine.. interesting.
ended up creating sfx that (runs .bat that) checks if x86 or x64 then runs either the x86/x64 compiled au3 script

Just want to verify how-to use C2R-R2V 3.7.
I've read the first posts of this thread + the "Readme.txt" of C2R-R2V but I can't find any clear instructions regarding this tool.

So... when a retail/C2R version of Office 2016 has already been installed on Windows 10 (thinking MKT will be able to activate it easily), how should I use C2R-R2V 3.7 to allow MKT to activate office?

- No need to uninstall office?
- just download C2R-R2V 3.7 on the computer and run as admin the "Convert-C2R.cmd" script?
- at the end what should I get? A confirmation that the conversion was completed successfully?
- and then I'll be able to run MKT to activate Office without any issue?

However I just learned something: the C2R version already installed is Home & Student, while it seems this version can not be converted into a VL version. Do you confirm?
If yes, I guess I need to fully uninstall it and install a Pro Plus version.

If you mean thread "Microsoft Office 2016 Volume License ISO (Original from VLSC)"
then there you get Volume-ISO's. Whereas the link in my post gives Click2Run-Retail-ISO.
Click2Run build development -from 'features' point of view- is way ahead. Volume ISO build
is 16.0.4639.1000 and Click2Run is 16.0.10325.20118.

Other thread "(Retail) Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 | MSDN" is Click2Run Retail
too and should give nearly the same ISO if identical build-# is used.

 

Is the IMG you got newer than what is in (Retail) Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 | MSDN?

I've been using the Microsoft Office 2016 License ISO (Original from VLSC) thread ISOs and updating through the WUD.
I thought the only way to get/create an up-to-date ISO was to use SVF, ESD or UUP files.
I din't know (Retail) Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 | MSDN were the latest ISOs. I wondered why people didn't stick with the VLSC ISOs instead of converting the retail ISOs to Volume before activating.
So, if I want the latest, should I get them from (Retail) Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 | MSDN or is there another/better way?
