Actually, thats old OneDrive for business the new one ID is simply OneDrive both should be excluded https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1413133/
Much appreciated, I guess I'll have to add Onedrive to a <Product ID="ProofingTools"> even if it's already under the main Office19ProPlus2019 ID. Edit: it works perfectly.
Office 365 don't have volume licenses, thus the nearest licenses is used although i suggest for OfficeRTool to use Mondo licenses yes, OfficeRTool download latest version from the selected channel
I used OfficeRTool since KMS_VL_ALL-SppExtComObjPatcher-kms-26 doesn't even detect Office 365 and it installs a Office 2016 Professional Plus license (not Mondo, whatever that is, so does that mean that it "transforms" Office 365 Professional Plus in Office Professional Plus 2016?) when I choose the convert office retail to volume option and not the start kms activation one so why does it activate it? But when I install Office 365 (before activating it) in Word's account section under Profile Information, Office and its logo I have Office 365 and not Office 2016 Professional Plus. How can it download a more recent build than the one that appeared in that page? So, should I wait for Office 365 to install a more recent build or should I manually download and install a more recent one using this tool and if so, how many times per week is it recommended to use it to search for new builds?
I'm trying to get a clear answer - because I have a very limited data plan - of the C2R download size of office 2019. The OfficeRtool says it's approx 1GB but I'm hearing, on this forum, that it's approx 2GB - a 100% difference! What's even more confusing is that I used the tool to download Office 2016, sometime ago, and the size was indeed approx 1GB; why 2019 would be twice the size of 2016 puzzles me. Can anyone give me a definitive answer? Thanks
The "Current" x64 version 16.0.10827.20138 is 2.14 GB (2,308,451,274 bytes) Remember the C2R files for Office 2019 includes EVERYTHING, Retail, Volume, ProPlus, Project, Visio
Thanks for your time but I'm talking about the online install, of the x86 version, initiated via OfficeRTool - only core apps like Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, and Outlook are downloaded and installed; certainly not Project and Visio. As I said, 2016 was about 1GB so I can't understand why 2019, with the same apps, would be twice that size
x86 version for 16.0.10827.20138 is 1.90 GB (2,044,535,716 bytes) It makes no differance what you install/dont install the downloaded files are the same if you install a single app or all apps, there are two main files: Code: stream.x86.en-US.dat = 265 MB (277,937,199 bytes) stream.x86.x-none.dat = 1.59 GB (1,711,471,220 bytes)
Then it must be that $OEM$ folder from KMS_VL_ALL-SppExtComObjPatcher-kms-26 that "interferes" with it since after installing Windows 10 and before trying to activate Office I didn't use any KMS solution. So, if I didn't integrate this folder I'd have to convert it with OfficeRTool and then activate it with it or Abbodi1406's tool (which I'm not sure but I don't think it can convert it, right?)? Is there a way to pre-activate Office 365 along with Windows 10 (the problem is converting Office 365 during pre-activation)? So does that mean that I'll still have all Office 365 features in spite of it now being called Office Professional Plus and not Office 365 Professional Plus? Ok. Thanks. May I delete the downloaded files to recover some space (assuming they weren't deleted by Office), wherever they are? So, in case I download new versions using OfficeRTool the difference between them and the previous ones is that they'll have the most recent updates? Also, should I use OfficeRTool or Abbodi1406's tool to activate it?
I'm trying to install O2019 on Win7 Pro x64 SP1. package.info Current 16.0.10827.20138 en-US x64 492350f6-3a01-4f97-b9c0-c7c6ddf67d60 when I start start_setup.cmd, it exits after showing Copying new ClickToRun installer files.. also, when I start OfficeRTool using OfficeRTool (no release check -NRC) shortcut, it still shows the latest releases.
The problem is we're talking about two different things: You're talking about downloading files for offline installation and I'm talking about online, Web-installation. Anyway I went ahead and initiated WebInstall, via OfficeRTool, and the data usage for installing ProPlus was just a little over 1.15GB
That will be so old, use OfficeRtool to get a new one. MS didn't created img for 365 in a while. Other thing you can do is downloading img of Office 2019 and use xml config to install Office 365 and channel Monthly.
