[HOW-TO/SUPPORT/CHAT] OFFICE C2R Download/Install/Activation

I can't believe that was the issue!

It worked after removing spaces from download destination!

But I just noticed that my efforts were futile since Windows 7 is blocked from receiving updates for Office 2019
Now I have to scrub 2019 Pro Plus version that I rushed to install after fixing the download destination and start over.

 

Is your LAN settings set to use proxy auto-config?

 

Yes, it is.
Web Proxy Auto-Discovery is in use.

 

I installed Office 2019 Pro Plus using OfficeRTool
Restarted
Converted to volume
Checked status = 30 days validity
KMS activated using OfficeRTool
Checked status - 180 days validity
Launched and tested all Office products to be working normally.

Do I really need to remove my install completely and follow one of the suggestions here to receive office updates on Windows 7? :

 

Yes, any C2R SKU that contain 2019 is blocked on Win 7/8.1
and AFAIK, OfficeRTool install Office 2019 products as-is

Did you converted Office to volume?

 

I've done it with YAOCTRIR_Configurator

you need C2R-R2V or OfficeRTool to convert to volume

use YAOCTRI_Configurator.cmd if you want Office volume directly

 

Downloaded office uninstaller from Micorsoft, removed and restarted
Used OfficeScrubber and restarted
Used OfficeRTool to install Office 365 Pro Plus complete suite on my Windows 7 x64 machine, restarted after installation
Used C2R-R2V_7 to convert license to Office 2019 by editting Convert-C2R.cmd and set _O365asO2019=1, then running as Admin.
Used OfficeRTool KMS to activate
Checked activation status in OfficeRTool and it shows the following:

In my experience, OfficeRTool does not with proxy auto config, the downloading portion is totally crippled. I had to set http_proxy environment variable in order to get OfficeRTool to work.

A quick and sharp question: did anyone try to install Office 365 on a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine? (I know this office version runs only on Windows 10, but I've read many of you successfully installed it on Win 7 and 8.1, so ... it could be worth asking)
