I have a very limited daily data-cap, so I'm unable to download Office at one go. Can someone advise which is the best tool - robustness and reliability - to pause and resume download? Thanks
I assume you are referring to Office 365...? or Office 2019 Pro Plus...? If so, Microsoft has extensive information here for you that will explain how to use the Office Deployment Tool as well as customizing the XML Configuration files for both downloading and installation of Office 365 Pro Plus, Office 2019 Pro Plus, Visio Pro 2019 and Project Pro 2019. I can't post links right now because I'm new here, but do an Internet Search for "Deployment guide for Office 365 ProPlus" and you should see the Microsoft guide near the top of the search results... Hope this helps... There's also a couple of good YouTube videos on how to install these as well... so far I haven't been able to get any Update Channel for O365 activated in a VM Lab environment, however, it works for Office 2019 products... I forgot to mention that the Office Pro Plus 2019 + Visio Pro 2019 + Project Pro 2019 is only a 1.87 GB download. The Office 365x64 with Visio and Project is 2.42 GB. You can use any computer to run the download, so if you have a laptop, just hop onto a free public wi-fi and run the download with the Setup.exe and the configuration-Office2019Enterprise.xml file that you'll get by running the Office Deployment Tool which is only a 3MB file.
Why is not it used to download Start-BitsTransfer (powershell) or curl? Both are default in Windows 10.
It's not a downloader i was going to add curl output, but its switches are too variant and not easy i will see about BITS next version

Hi everyone, I followed the guide which basically: Install Office 365 Pro Plus Convert to Mondo 2016 Activate Change license (-VMFTK), there is error, fix, then reapply the key. Now it worked. Reopen office, I saw the new Ribbon UI In words, there is this line focus, powerpoint there is morph including animated 3d objects, but then I am still missing the dynamic array functions in excel, such as FILTER, UNIQUE, SORTBY Unfortunately, the excel function is what I want the most. Can anyone confirm the availability of dynamic array functions? Thank you.
I still cannot find my answer in OP. I know we can succeed in mounting wotok with Office 2019 Retail iso via cmd to Volume and install it on PC at the same time. But now I am just trying to change my Office 2019 Pro Plus iso from Retail to Volume and reserve it for later use as presently I am using Office 2016 Volume. Is that possible to do so? Mount the Retail iso and use YAOCTRI for custom and direct VL install of office. or if you really want the installation experience similar as it was in O2016 VL iso, do the following. In the Retail .img/.iso Delete the files, "I:\autorun.inf" "I:\Setup.exe" "I:\Office\Setup64.exe" "I:\Office\Setup32.exe" copy the YAOCTRI_Configurator.cmd and paste it as, "I:\Setup.cmd" save the iso file, Done.

Got my office fine installed and new ribbon UI worked like a charme. After getting a f*cking virus I have to reinstall my complete OS and office - now the new ribbon come and go of it's own decission. Mostly at any reboot it was gone. Unfortunately I don't can reproduce a procedure to have the new ribbon UI forever
I don't even have that on my Office 2019 and 365 install.... ...so what's inside these, as I'm assuming these are user added and not preadded by installation...?
