Ok, I guess I'm out of luck. Out of curiosity, would you happen to know why there's such a vast difference in size between Office pro 2010 iso - ~650mb - and Office pro 2016 - ~4GB - over six times bigger! Superficially, the differences between the two versions don't seem to be that significant
Use YAOCTRU to download latest office files. Get x86 version, final size will be approx 1.6 GB and when that's done, use YAOCTRI to (custom) install office.
Office 2010 is MSI and product-specific, and with SP2 the iso size would be > 1.30 GB Office 2016/2019/365 are ClickToRun and include all products I'm happily using Office 2016 MSI volume iso, ~ 800 MB, i don't update it either
Not sure, how do I check? If the new ribbon also exists for 2019, how do I check what stream I'm on that too? But user add assistant would be required if you don't have nor want to connect to the net but still want the new ribbon?
C2R-Retail2Volume-2013 Updated the script for Office 2013 - properly support old or new versions - support additional SKUs: Office 365 (2013), HomeBusiness, HomeStudent - removed deprecated Office 2016 code thanks to @Windows_Addict for testing
For me it doesn't work. If I run Convert-C2R all licenses will be deleteted, but only Mondo-license will installed. Generic grace Key isn't installed. Edit: I think gthe problem is: Convert-C2R deletes all licences, then it installs Mondo-licences and after that it trys to install generic grace key. But after installing Mondo-license, the produkt SKU has changed and insert generic grace key fails with ERROR CODE: 0xC004F069.
16.0.11504.20000 ...but it's independent from the version. Or let me explain like this: If you install Office the first time, there are no issues. Bit if you have to "play around", remove the licenses and try to insert again, at one point Convert-C2R doesn't work anymore.
C2R-Retail2Volume-2013++ Fixed ospp.vbs path issue with Office x86 on Windows x64 thanks to @muggles for notifying
What does it look like again? A comparison shot(or two or however many required to showcase the new change...even if it's really subtle) of new ribbon compared to the old ribbon, would be nice and I would of course do this myself except none of my office installs have the new ribbon so I can't...or don't know what it's suppose to look like...
What is different between two IDS(Production::CC and Production::LTSC) which the product contents are same ?
