unless i missed something important this tool cannot be used to add a different version component to an existing office right? i have a 365 install currently and want to add my project 2016 to the same PC but keep getting the dreadful C2R error. would appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction on how to accomplish this. Thank you
Guys i am trying to install office 2019 for the past few hours using office tool plus. But it never go past 51%. I tried disabling firewall since when searching the error in google, someone says its due to windows bloking some microsoft site and all. But even after doing that it never go past 51%. Can anyone please help me with the issue?
@ashoktvm You probably should ask @Yerong in this thread In the mean time - there are other tools that works flawless. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-microsoft-office-2019.75232/ WOTOK online and OfficeRTool perhaps
I'm curious if anyone has had any experience with OfficeTool/OfficeToolPlus? Here's their website: otp.landian.vip/en-us/ It seems like it's basically a Chinese copy-cat of OfficeRTool (or vise-versa?) with a surprisingly clean and polished GUI.
Feedback... I performed a clean install of windows 10 build 1903, installed 0365, (monthly chanel), converted office from retail to volume successfully but KMS activation failed using the Office Rtool. I was able to activate it via the KMS_VL_ALL. Can't figure why rtool would fail using the default internal server. Is the internal kms server down???? After activating, rtool can reactivate O365
I can't, the installation is not recognized by the OfficeRTool(ironic, since I installed it using OfficeRTool).
Just installed 32bit/x86 Office 2019 ProPlus (monthly, 16.0.11425.20244) on 64bit Windows 10, 1809 (17763.437) by using OfficeRTool. OfficeRTool finds the installation, does Retail2VL-conversion and KMS-activates Office 2019 Proplus without problems. If KMS_VL_ALL finds it, it will activate Office. So you already should have a ready to use Office. If KMS_VL_ALL doesn't activate Office, then you have some problems with your system (antivirus interfering?, corrupt windows-/office-setup?).
Anyone notice office 365 that there is a current update that doesn't update from Version 1903: April 17 (Build 11425.20228)? Tried checking for updates and no pop up box appear even though it says updates available.
Yes I have a similar issue. Have upgraded some of my machines to Win 101903-182362.53. Office 1903 11425.20228 installed and Office 1903.11425.20244 is available but "Downloading Office Updates" seems to just run ad infinitum. Adapter traffic suggests data coming down but the process seems to never complete. Update ... I have managed to get 3 machines to update correctly now. It was however, all a bit hit and miss. One I simply restarted with the downloading splash screen still running after 3 hours and it reported that it was updated successfully and indeed this seems to be so when I checked. The second machine required an "off-line" repair followed by a restart, with the updating dialog still running. The 3rd machine took a full online repair and when I started WORD (without a system restart) it was on the 11425.20244 build. I suspect there is some MSO update component that does not play well with Windows 10 1903, but of course that is just uninformed supposition on my part. Be interesting to see what happens at the next MSO update, although with Win 10 updates likely too in the run up to official May release, multiple variables at play...who knows?
Hi @Ratlefatz - is it okay to /does it make sense to, simply overwrite the setup.exe in your Dec 02 OfficeRtool with the new one from this new deployment tool?
