I restarted 4 times and it seems to be here to stay. So all fine now. Maybe you can agree to this. Hm... who knows why the feature (maybe other features, too?) are delayed for 3 mainversion when not having the real O365 license.
Might have been asked many times. How to enable/activate new Ribbon for 2019 VL Pro Plus Edition? Mine is legitimately activated using a MAK key. No kms here.
I install Mondo 2016 directly with YAOCTRI and YAOCTRU and works perfectly! I'm not sure if that all of the features of Office 365 are present, but there are a lot of improvements since Office 2019 (new ribbon, new icons, improved spelling and grammar, Project and Visio included in the install, and more) All of the software now has the new icons except Project (but in the license indicator in About program is the new icon for Project - will be added in a future update to the program itself) Mondo 2016 is called, but don't fool for the 2016 in the name, it's better than office 2019. And it's installable in Windows 7 without tricks (i tested it personally with yaoctri and windows 7)
I have the same issue. Even tried to use another version of Office and didn't help. Same error. Microsoft is blaming the user for the error by telling them how to fix it instead of admitting that they have the problem in deployment of this update.. The fix for the user doesn't fix anything. So Microsoft has to fix it on their end..
It continues to show that updates are ready for download, however, when attempting that function the 30088-28 error appears. I have the C2R and would think that it should be updated that way via Windows Update function. Still it shows up and won't update. This is now the dog food version I am attempting to update..
Ok. This is a great tool, and I've used it multiple times in the past. ratzlefatz, if you see this by any chance, thank you for creating this. But something weird is happening today. I've just installed windows 10 pro v 1903, and after activating that and restarting, I disabled smartscreen, added exceptions to the folder with OfficeRtool, disabled Realtime protection and tamper protection. OfficeRtool just doesn't seem to work for me. If I don't run as admin, I get "Requesting Administrative Privileges... Press YES in UAC Prompt to Continue" before the UAC prompt comes, and then the window closes a split second after clicking yes. Running as admin also causes the window to close a split second after it opens. I've tried both the June 8th 2019 version (I've used this on the same laptop in the past, but not on windows 10 v. 1903) and the August 3th 2019 version, both have the same behavior. Any help would be appreciated.
This was the problem. I had my tools in Code: unimportant_part/ms-tools(pw=2019)/ I didn't know that brackets and equal signs were problematic. Thank you very much

Hi, i've installed Office 365 ProfessionalPlus with Visio and Project using OfficeRTool2019August03, converted it from Retail to Volume and then i activated with the internal KMS option. My problem is, that i get many Security-SPP 8233 warnings in the Eventviewer related to the AppId = 0ff1ce15-a989-479d-af46-f275c6370663 and different Skuids. The Triggers of these warnings are changing from: Trigger=NetworkQuarantineRetry, Trigger=UserLogon(2), Trigger=NetworkAvailable, Trigger=NetworkAvailable and Trigger=TimerEvent. The Reason for all warnings is: 0xC004F074. I hope, that somebody can help me.
With latest Monthly Office 365 update 1908, when Retail-to-VL converted & activated by KMS server, it does not work simultaneously working on Excel files stored in OneDrive. First person opens online, second person opens in application & gets Read-Only As soon as KMS licence files are removed & activated by login to O365 this functionality is back sebus

Suddenly the M $ Office C2R 2016 that I have always used has totally changed its graphical interface and with a lot of new features and of course everything connected to M $ FT; so I uninstalled and installed the Home / Student 2019 version and after a few hours the same thing happened again then I uninstalled this version I used Officescrubber, restarted the machine and installed the 2010 version !!! will I have to use the 2003 version (which is possible because I tested on the 10240 version of Windows 10 in 2015 or go to LibreOffice...
