I just have one question, what is the difference between these two Office 2016 files: en_office_professional_plus_2016_x86_x64_dvd_6962141.iso (This is available on the eye, this is the retail MSDN version right ?) (2.3 GB) ProPlusRetail.img (available on rg-adguard, this looks retail version) (4.2 GB) My target is downloading one of these then converting to Volume then activating, just was confused due to difference in size.
Nothing, both are Click-To-Run MSDN iso is very older it's best to download O365ProPlusRetail.img (newer) then use ODT or web setup files or other tools to install Office 2016 and if you going to activate with KMS, it's better to install Office 2019
Question, how frequently MS update Office images? Is it on regular schedules or random? (O365ProPlusRetail.img or ProPlus2019Retail.img or ...)
Semi-annual channel get feature update twice a year, 03 & 09 they update the images 3 times since 2018
Please Can some oneone tell me where can I download the latest visio that would not give me this error when I am trying to install it? we re sorry because you have these click to run installer based installed on your computer: microsoft office 2019 en us windows installed and click to run editions of office programs don't get along for this version. i was trying to install a 2016 visio i downloaded from this forum becasue that's all I found
Hey abbodi, is there any way to remove this extra mondo license without complete reinstall ? This is the process I followed: Downloaded O365ProPlusRetail.img > mounted and installed it directly like a dumbass > Ran C2R-R2V_11 > Realised I want 2019 > Uninstalled by control panel > restarted > mounted iso again and used YAOCTRI_v7.0 to install 2019 > Used KMS_VL_ALL-35
Download Office Scrubber. Run files, Uninstall_Licenses.cmd and Uninstall_Keys.cmd Open any Office app, repair (installing proper volume keys and licenses) option will appear, select it, wait for it to close. Open an Office app again, and now the issue is fixed. Any further action shouldn't be required.
Which is the best tool to know if a key is blocked or not I used pidkey Checker lite and it say the key is valid bit when test here in my machine the key is blocked Can I trust in this programs to know if a key is blocked or not? Thank you
Every time I open the C2R file, it gives me an error: ==== ERROR ==== Disallowed special characters detected in file path name. Make sure the path do not contain the following special characters. ` ~ ! @ % ^ & ( ) [ ] { } + = ; ' , I've looked at the file path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\C2R-R2V-AIO-master\C2R-R2V-AIO.cmd Can't see any of the special characters its having trouble with... I think the PC is a little confused, or because its a brand new installation of Windows, either its not compatible or they blocked it?
what’s the difference between O365ProPlusRetail and the regular office 2019 or office 2016 versions?
I just realised this, thank you for pointing it out. During the installation of Office 2019, it didn't ask me where to install, and defaulted to the x86 folder. Does this mean I can't use these tools at all?
I have the original office 2019 pro plus iso (retail). Ofcourse there are already new versions. Is it possible to download the most recent files using YAOCTRU and replace the original files on the iso (leaving setup.exe untouched). Will it just install?
@gerardv514 Office 365 = subscription and retail only = get all features Office 2016 and 2019 are volume or retail = get few features as for installation files difference, nothing only the setup32.exe & setup64.exe is different between img files (of the same version) --- @platonic wisdom Office C2R does not allow to choose installation path --- @l2p2c2 Yes but it's best if you also download the newest setup .exe files https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1458318/
Thank you for getting back to me. I think you misunderstood what I was asking, I don't want C2R to choose installation path. I am concerned because the installation path for microsoft office includes brackets, (x86), so either this tool doesn't work for office 2019, or something isn't correct.
Why do you put the tool in that path in the first? any other normal user path will be better C:\Program Files (x86) is system path for x86 programs on Windows x64
