Thank you very much Windows_Addict. Indeed that's why asked if there was any better way without having to move to Office 2016 mondo. when activated. I appreciate your very clear and constructive response. . With users like you in the myDigitallife forum, the trash that someone else puts in the forum is countered, since the character of the other messages, such a vanelle, no case. there is always a troll out there
I downloaded the OfficeRTool 2020 March 30 version. When I tried to move the folder to a different location, it says the WinDivert64.sys file is in-use an can't be moved. It also says something about reqrypt.org Bitcoin something. What program do I need to turn off in Task Manager to move this?
Getting error in OfficeRTool Check file "C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Temp\Semi_Annual_Channel_VersionDescriptor.txt" find: 'AvailableBuild': No such file or directory *** ERROR checking: * Dogfood_DevMain_Channel * *** No Build / Version number found in file: * VersionDescriptor.txt although files are created in %Temp% folder and AvailableBuild does indeed exist in the txt files. Anyone has an idea what I could do to get it working again?
Clear TEMP-folder. Check (if antivirus-program is other than MS Defender) that AV has set exclusions for OfficeRTool. Start OfficeRTool again.
Cleaned Temp several times already, deactivated Windows Defender and also copied over the build files from a working VM copy of OfficeRTool, still doesn't work. Looks like Windows is due for a reinstallation when 2004 drops officially.
is there a way to make an offline installer that automatically excludes certain items without having to type out excludes on install?
Just enter "C" in OfficeRTool at this question: Start local install now (1/0) or Create Install Package (C) ? > This will create a setup-package based on your selection. Then copy download-folder containing setup-package files. You later can use this package on other PCs. "start_setup.cmd" in package download-folder will start the preconfigured install.
