Stuck at 51%. Same here! Tried all so called 'solved' tips. Nothing. Windows 10 1809 is running on this system. 2 others with 1909 are running fine. OfficeScrubber from abbodi1406 didn't help. New clean Windows 1809 setup doesn't help either. This behaviour starts with latest Office update. To me, it seems, newest Office build (Monthly) is buggy on older Windows 10 builds. I will try newest W10 2004 and hope this will bring back my wife's Office (otherwise I will get ).
Same issue on w10x64 20H1 19041.264, with or without AV or firewall. Redownloaded installer... same, dism reset base and health... same, sfc... same. Buggy channel. EDIT: I will try Semi-Annual Channel Targeted (Business Insider, C2R) -------------: 16.0.12527.20612... and later we can change update channel. EDIT2: Confirmed buggy channel. Installed semi, changed to rtm and updated.
I'm back. The system is running a complete new setup now. I've deleted system partition, installed Win10 2004 19041.264 and downloaded Office 16.0.12730.20270 from Monthly channel. Office install was fast and completed without errors. Hey MS: Instead of doing funny renaming of Office distribution- and update-channels (happened twice, incomprehensible) you should spend more attention to the fact that this may harm your content delivery network (and the users...)
Can somone please create configuration.xml for office 365 bussines instalation from O365BusinessRetail.img (latest update version 2002 16.0.12527.20482).? I made conf online with MS tool but I am not sute that its correct way. I need it to install: word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, and visio pro... Please take a look.
@armond MS keep changing things i will update YAOCTRI/YAOCTRU soon to add support for MonthlyEnterprise channel
Looking forward to try it! BTW it would be not bad if you could add a configurator to YAOCTRU. I mean something similar to YAOCTRI's configurator. So we could configure the desired channel/bitness/language/output type and make things easier.
YAOCTRU first lets users configure through menu options, then create a file (download links) based on that configuration. That is the easier way IMO. Could you please elaborate on how this process can be made easier?
Well, Something similar to YAOCTRI's configurator. Hope it's clear now. I believe @abbodi1406will get my point anyway.
Well YAOCTRU creates a file with the configuration and we can execute it to download anywhere and anytime we want, which is the same as YAOCTRI's configurator feature. But yeah, maybe something can be made to create a configuration file that will create a configuration file, sort of. Anyway, abbodi will decide if it's worth it or not.
Hi guys, I need your help. About 2 years ago, I have successfully installed Office 365 Pro Plus, Visio and Project, and everything works great, as far. Unfortunately, during the initial installation, I have excluded "Microsoft Team" and now I would like to have it. My question is: because I do not want use MS Team as a simple app, is there a way to add it, as desktop product, to the other components (Word, Excel, Outlook, …) without messing , deleting or overwriting my current working suite? Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
@ratzlefatz, When you choose to install Office 2019 Pro Plus, the script seems to want to install Project & Visio 2016 instead of 2019. The older script was installing Project and Visio 2019. It probably does not matter, and it is possible to edit the XML file to reflect the version. Regards, Simple.
Confirmed. Is corrected in next OfficeRTool version. Next version will soon be published after release of new OfficeDeploymentTool which supports new naming of distribution- / update-channels and is announced for June 09 by Microsoft. If you want it sooner add a new line after line 1315 in OfficeRTool.cmd: Code: line 1314:remains: if "%of36install%" EQU "1" goto:InstVi19Pr19 line 1315:remains: if "%ofbsinstall%" EQU "1" goto:InstVi19Pr19 line 1316:new line: if "%of19install%" EQU "1" goto:InstVi19Pr19
