[HOW-TO/SUPPORT/CHAT] OFFICE C2R Download/Install/Activation

OfficeRTool will need an update to be compatible with ARM64 Windows 10.
However, the latest KMS_VL_ALL and C2R-Retail2Volume scripts are fully compatible with ARM64 Windows 10. Let us know if you see any issue with them. BTW I didn't get what you mean by ORT.

Also, you can use YAOCTRU to download the latest Office C2R files and YAOCTRI to install them. Both should work fine on ARM64 Windows 10.

 

Thanks ... ORT "Office R Tool" YCU it will be.. "YAOCTRU". I would also assume MAS 1.4 will not work for an insider preview, especially an ARM version.

 

today i keep getting this message when opening Excel (there's a problem with your office license)
i uninstalled Office 365 then used OfficeScrubber then downloded and installed latest version of Office 365(beta)
using OfficeRTool ,converted to vol . and activated ..but i still get same message ,i checked license
OK...

 

Thanks for the report. Seems like MS extended the detection of non-official Volume installation of the Office, the banner is also new. Office 2019 on the 'PerpetualVL2019' update channel should still be a way to not get those banners. Updated the info here https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1653090/

nope, there is the same. I am on office 2021 on PerpetualVL2019 and get the message too.

 

Try online KMS.

 

Have you activated it with the latest version of KMS_VL_ALL? Try with office 2019 on PerpetualVL2019 and let us know if you see the banner.

 

I think Office also checks for the existence of a KMS server name in the registry. Older versions of KMS_VL_ALL didn't add this in the registry.

The equivalent update channel for Office 2021 is "PerpetualVL2021". Try with it.

 

You could remove the tokens.dat only and restart office to see if it has effect. If it does not work:
- Try uninstalling "scrubbing" Office. I think the latest from Microsoft site is "SetupProd_OffScrub.exe"
- With Office closed, navigated to "C:\Windows\System32\spp\store\2.0\tokens.dat" and rename "tokens.dat" to "tokens.dat.old" if it is still there.
- Install Office again
- Convert Retail to VL
- Activate

and to get rid of "Get Genuine Office"
- Open Word and navigate to File --> options --> Privacy Settings
- Under All Connected Experiences, uncheck Enable Connected Experience and restart Office.

P.S. "OLicenseCleanup.vbs" a license cleaner that can also be downloaded from Microsoft web site.

Try to install the generic MAK key, maybe it will work
(and uninstall VL_KMS license)
(VL_KMS and VL_MAK expired 18. 1. 2022, MAK is better key)
