I have seen in your screenshot you are installing from Drive "A:" Is this a real drive or a network share? If network share: Are the permissions set correctly? For testing you should copy all files from (A) to real harddisk (C) and try "start_setup.cmd" from there. You installed 32bit Office 16.0.4229.1024. I had one 64bit installation with a similiar problem. There were no errors during download. Setup failed. But after a new download install was working without problems. So it seems MS silently changed (again) something in 64bit setup files. You installed 32bit. Maybe here a redownload is worth a try, too. If this doesn't help, then I'm afraid you should think about a new fresh system setup. Or you use internal Office update: Start Word -> Menu->File->Account->Update Options->Update Now to upgrade a prior Office to the new version.
I do have a problem. I didn't install Professional Plus edition I just went and installed only app that I need (yes I know I didnt go deep into the thread to see recommendations to install Pro+). Now Im stuck with activation as neither O2016RTool nor MSToolkit can activate individual apps. I have uninstalled them, installed Professional Plus but still AutoKMS sees the keys from individual apps and it cant activate Professional Plus nor individual apps. And besides that it screwed up my 2013 license as well.
I've uninstalled all of the Office apps present on my system, both 2013 and 2016. Then I went on to install Office 2016 Professional Plus and your tool made a successful activation. Works like a charm. I guess problem was not removing 2013 before installing 2016 after all. Thanks for your reply!
Sorry, for noob question: After wanted download O2016RTOOL, there comes a messaqge: This domain is blocked due to a phishing threat. Don't know how to fix it?
Hi ! you're probably using OpenDNS as DNS provider, switch temporarily to another one e.g. Google's one : 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.
Which program gives this message? - Web-Browser? - File-Download-Manager? - Antivirus-Prog? You see, there are many places where this can happen. Without knowing more, we can't help. In case of Firefox-Browser you may temporarily disable this functionality and re-enable after download. - Go to "Menu"->"Options" then select "Security"-Tab - Remove the check from "Block reported attack sites" and "Block Reported Web Forgeries" - redo download
@ratzlefatz: If I activate Office 2016 by O2016RTool KMS - will there be installed any service or is it single activation?
Installing single components of Office 2016 messed up my (test) system now! Office 2013 was removed sucessfully before...installing components of office 2016 worked fine. No I decide to install full suite und try to uninstall components...first of all: Access...this works...but after that, I get an error message for the each other components. Do you know how to remove?
YES, changing key is sufficient. No extra magic needed. O2016RTool installs during conversion to VL both license type (KMS_VL and MAK_VL) certification files.
