Windows 7 user. Currently using Yaoctru. Generated two bat scripts - I was only expecting 1 script) named 1. 16.0.12527.22197_x64_en-GB_Monthly_aria2.bat 2. 16.0.12527.22060_x64_en-GB_MonthlyPreview_aria2.bat Running the 1st bat - double clicking the script to start. What happens reminds me of the long struggles with uupdump where the download finishes with errors in the output. I have rerun the .bat script few times since the intial run but the errors persist. I'm probably asking and answering my own question here BUT are the errors due to MS overload, the time of day, other reasons unknown to this user? Should I start over or persist with the already generated .bat? best wishes
@summersuns Which YAOCTRI (Yet Another Office Click-To-Run Installer) script did you use and how did you use it?
First things first - YAOCTRU to download to download the goods. Not downloaded yet. Erroring out as per post above. YAOCTRI has not been used yet as it has nothing to perform its function on
Yes thanks, completed download successfully. Unfortunately something else ocurred and I have now have to leave this thead. Thanks for your interest.
Looks like Code: -Officeversion All parameter only works when there are multiple office versions installed. For single or no office installed, use Code: SaRAcmd.exe -S OfficeScrubScenario -AcceptEula
Thanks a lot for your kind help and dedication. I was going to ask exactly this, I'm happy to know abbodi's is the best one. Just ran SaRA_17_0_8900_12 / SaraSetup.exe a moment ago and didn't like it, it asks to be installed in the compouter. I lean towards portable programs, especially for this scenarios.
Yes I forgot to let this very clear: Due to I love portable programs/apps, the SaRA's command line version is the way to go.
Official IMGs are updated about twice a year. If you want an IMG (ISO) with the current build, create it yourself manually.
