The latest Insider Preview no longer works on Windows 8.1 The updater won't go from 2305 to 2306 even with CR2 Extender
I can assure you that if I would be sticking to official EOL-Dates and what MS says, I wouldn't be here. I succesfully installed Office Versions up to 2305 on Windows 8.1 with @abbodi76's C2R Extender. I would like to underline that there is nothing wrong or illegal about this. Furthermore, I also managed to run the latest Chrome (113) on Win8.1

Hi everyone, just wondering, has anyone gotten any newer versions of Office 365 to install and work on Windows 7 beyond version 2002? I am on the latest Windows 7 build from January this year, which is 16.012527.22286. Would the C2R Extender allow me to install even versions such as 2301? Or would DLL and API modifications be required for newer office versions to work on Windows 7?
Will not be. Microsoft rewrites software using the system features of the new operating systems. Theoretically, you can "hack/patch" Microsoft 365 files. In fact, it depends on your skills and the complexity of reverse code analysis. Old OS - old programs. It's time to get used to it.
Newer builds beyond 16.012527.xxx are not compatible with W7 (missing DLLs imports or require DLLs on Win 8.1/10)

Just a small issue that might catch out someone else in the future, Project doesn't support en-GB so I had to scrub my Office install, re-download the package for en-US and re-install. Not an issue with this tool and everything worked well apart from that, appreciate the work!
