Thank you for the response… it turns out the problem was probably because I had saved it on the E drive, but when I moved it to the Desktop, it worked without any issues… thank you very much.
Hey, Downloaded Office 365 and installed, but can't seem to activate. I get the following error: Any help?

Hi abbodi1406, I need to make a full and proof distribution. Is it possible to specify full and proof in the ini or will I have to generate two separate cmds?
For installation? YAOCTRI does not support proofing tools for download, yes, you need to create two separate cmds
Any chance of a bit of help here, please? Since 2021, I believe I have been running running Office 2019 Professional Plus with a genuine key which should activate 10 copies. A month ago I was looking at OfficeClickToRun. It looks like I gained a C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX64 folder with OfficeClickToRun.exe and IntegeatedOffice.exe in it. (dated 17 Dec 2025). Coincidentally (not), yesterday, my installation suddenly said it was not activated and, if I try entering the produce key I originally used, then I get a message "This product key can't be used to activate volume-licenced versions of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019". I've tried renaming the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX64 folder but it regenerates. How can I fix this, preferably without scrubbing Office? Could I be mistaken and should I be using a retail installation?
If you have a genuine key, ask Microsoft for help (or the seller). Any exe, dll or others files do not affect the activation issue.
How can I tell if my Licence is Retail or Volume? It was given to me years ago and I can't go back and ask questions (big fall out!). It was working until yesterday, one month after I tried configuring, but not using, OfficeClickToRun. From the error message, it looks like I still have a Volume installation. Is there a way to try converting it back to Retail and activating it again?
I think I led you up the garden path. I ran: Code: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16>cscript //nologo ospp.vbs /dstatus ---Processing-------------------------- --------------------------------------- PRODUCT ID: 00414-50000-00000-AA476 SKU ID: 85dd8b5f-eaa4-4af3-a628-cce9e77c9a03 LICENSE NAME: Office 19, Office19ProPlus2019VL_KMS_Client_AE edition LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 19, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel BETA EXPIRATION: 01/01/1601 LICENSE STATUS: ---NOTIFICATIONS--- ERROR CODE: 0xC004F00F ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the hardware ID binding is beyond the level of tolerance. Hello everybody I bought a new pc (digital of 64bits, DELL). I cannot install pack office 2021. If you can help me to find a solution.
"I cannot install pack office 2021." What do you mean by that or what is the problem or can you clarify somehow?
This is probably O/T, but I am using a downloaded volume set of installation files. I currently have a 10-licence pack of Office 2019 Pro Plus and I've been installing it with the ODT and a locally downloaded copy. It looks like on a couple of installations I am using it with KMS activation and not with the licences. I do have it running on one PC with the licence. I am trying to install it on another Windows 11 Home PC with a pukka licence. It appears to work OK and when I apply the licence, I get: Code: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16>cscript //nologo ospp.vbs /act ---Processing-------------------------- --------------------------------------- Installed product key detected - attempting to activate the following product: SKU ID: a3072b8f-adcc-4e75-8d62-fdeb9bdfae57 LICENSE NAME: Office 19, Office19ProPlus2019R_Retail edition LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 19, RETAIL channel Last 5 characters of installed product key: XXXXX <Product activation successful> --------------------------------------- --------------------------------------- ---Exiting----------------------------- C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16>cscript //nologo ospp.vbs /dstatus ---Processing-------------------------- --------------------------------------- PRODUCT ID: 00413-60000-54073-AA961 SKU ID: a3072b8f-adcc-4e75-8d62-fdeb9bdfae57 LICENSE NAME: Office 19, Office19ProPlus2019R_Retail edition LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 19, RETAIL channel BETA EXPIRATION: 01/01/1601 LICENSE STATUS: ---LICENSED--- Last 5 characters of installed product key: XXXXX --------------------------------------- --------------------------------------- ---Exiting----------------------------- So it looks like my licence is retail and not volume? Anyway, it all seems to work but I get occasional popups: I cannot find any good references on it and I've tried reinstalling a few times. Is the error anything to do with the installation method? If so, where can I get a good copy of the retail 2019 Pro Plus (in en-gb)? Or can I get round the problem?
I've downloaded a retail x64 en-us edition and installed that and the en-gb language pack and it seems to have worked. I wonder what was wrong with the other method.
