I successfully installed the professional/standard x64 2062 latest build but I can't activate using the internal KMS. It says no instance available
Did you forget to go through the mandatory step [C] CONVERT VNEXT AND WEB OFFICE TO VOLUME before [K] START KMS ACTIVATION ? If you have already done this conversion step (Retail2VL), then maybe your Antivirus-Software is interfering KMS activation.
Nope I went through it as well. Everything is successful. I'm just using windows defender, shouldn't have any issue? Somehow it doesn't detect the KMS instance..
I was getting Error 30029-1015 error with 16.0.6868.2062 build early yesterday. I download current retail release build 16.0.6868.2067 and no more error. I saw back on page 92 of this thread others had same error and 2062 fixed but was not working for me until I used 2067 build (release yesterday March 23rd).
Hello iam totally lost. I want to download office pro plus 2016 the version which activates through kms. Can someone give me a link for this version ? What is the difference between retail and volume license ?
It's windows 10 64 bit Pro, version 1511 No office is installed before, alright i will try it and give u my results! edit: I tried the KMS_VL_ALL and it failed as well. This is weird...
During the last Current/Retail-releases it sometimes happened, that a downloaded predecessor/former version will become unusable when a new version was released recently. I don't know what causes this, but assume that something on Microsoft content delivery servers changes when new releases are published. Install always succeeded if newest version is used. Glad, you helped yourself and thank you for info about: Current / Retail Branch -- Click2Run -> 16.0.6868.2067
@s1ave77 Using O2016RTool, Current Channel (Retail, C2R), x64,Single Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Start local install now (1), the installation went fast (due to my SSD) but got stuck at 90%. Any ideas on how to resolve the issue? I tried custom installation earlier after carrying out Step #4 too but to no avail. Edit: OS (Windows 7 x64)
Hi, sorry for bothering, but what is the most recommended way to get Office 2016 (Pro Plus)? I tried to read everywhere but couldnt get an answer. For activation omething like KMS Pico or do it manually via cmd? What about the "Volume Licensing" version of Office i read about? I really tried searching up but there is just "too much" info Hope you could help!
When I press "C" to convert the type. The program crashes with an error message which says something like "4229 was unexpected" or something like that. Am I doing anything wrong? EDIT: I might have launched Office before the activation though. Tried uninstalling reinstalling, cleaning keys.
