Hello iam totally lost. I want to download office pro plus 2016 the version which activates through kms. Can someone give me a link for this version ? What is the difference between retail and volume license ?
It's windows 10 64 bit Pro, version 1511 No office is installed before, alright i will try it and give u my results! edit: I tried the KMS_VL_ALL and it failed as well. This is weird...
During the last Current/Retail-releases it sometimes happened, that a downloaded predecessor/former version will become unusable when a new version was released recently. I don't know what causes this, but assume that something on Microsoft content delivery servers changes when new releases are published. Install always succeeded if newest version is used. Glad, you helped yourself and thank you for info about: Current / Retail Branch -- Click2Run -> 16.0.6868.2067
@s1ave77 Using O2016RTool, Current Channel (Retail, C2R), x64,Single Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Start local install now (1), the installation went fast (due to my SSD) but got stuck at 90%. Any ideas on how to resolve the issue? I tried custom installation earlier after carrying out Step #4 too but to no avail. Edit: OS (Windows 7 x64)
Hi, sorry for bothering, but what is the most recommended way to get Office 2016 (Pro Plus)? I tried to read everywhere but couldnt get an answer. For activation omething like KMS Pico or do it manually via cmd? What about the "Volume Licensing" version of Office i read about? I really tried searching up but there is just "too much" info Hope you could help!
When I press "C" to convert the type. The program crashes with an error message which says something like "4229 was unexpected" or something like that. Am I doing anything wrong? EDIT: I might have launched Office before the activation though. Tried uninstalling reinstalling, cleaning keys.
hehe just wanted to post this as well I got the same error and am reinstalling from scratch at the moment. I think there's an error in the tool at this mark: Code: for /f "tokens=3,4 delims=." %%a in ("%o16version%") do (set /a offvermajor=%%a && set /a offverminor=%%a) set "" if %offvermajor% EQU 4229 if %offverminor% EQU 1015 set "" if %offvermajor% EQU 4266 if %offverminor% EQU 1003 set "" ^ I removed some of the code does someone have the old version for me in the meantime?
I fixed the error by bypassing the version check manually. My version was 4266.1003 so I used that line to set o16opdlocid After that I encountered another error with the InstallationPath and ProductReleaseIds so I set them manually as well. That did the trick to make it work, but after that I encountered another problem with installing the KMS Activation which failed. I still need some help
Have read the error reports and I will look into this. Expect an answer real soon. Sorry for any inconveniences.
Thanks! Do you have the old version in the meantime? Thanks for the PM ratzlefatz (I can't PM back yet ), I will check it out asap and report back
