Would like to have ... but they don't exist. Check out how to use vnext page manually or use JATD and How-To in post#2.
NOTE: JATDevice will now create a Vnext pack, that can be used on it's own. Just run the Start BAT inside the download folder after starting it once from within JATD . Have fun ... if you can (it's still Office) .
Im kinda lost here. For the setup path, do we have to use the same path during download ie. D:\O16 or with the office version ie. D:\O16\16.0.4229.1006_en-US_x64 ? I downloaded vnext office 16x64 offline install. But when i try to install it still ask for internet connection? I thought offline install means what it is called for.
1.) Always use newest version of JATDevice (mandatory) 2.) Only root path (in your example D:\O16) must be entered 3,) Yes after download, package can be installed offline. Just tested "ProfessionalPlus", "en-US", "x64" install with newest JATDevice: all ok Maybe you got currupted files. One member reported in other Office 16 thread that this was his "problem". Redo Download with newest JATDevice and report back. For troubleshooting, Windows version and all used parameters in JATDevice (Office Product, language-id, platform/architecture) are needed. Frequently read posts #2 - #6 to always have the "latest" news and important -> installation instructions. Current Office Version changed to 16.0.4229.1009 on July, 29 - You should overwrite preset 16.0.4229.1006 build/version string in JATDevice manually with new string to get the latest Office.
Offline Install .1009 I have followed to the letter and even using the current JATDevice vXXIX. I have redownloaded the Office 2016 twice but it still requires internet connection. As someone pointed out, there's an error code 30101-1011 (0) requiring to "...download a required file". This is happening on build 16.0.4229.1009 PS: Am on Windows 10 RTM (10240)
@ ratzlefatz Could it be that this is one of those cases, where one needs the two little CABs from other arch . The problem doggie also faced, ya know.
That was corrected in JATDevice XXVIII. The 2 "x64" CAB's which a "x86" platform setup needs, are automagically included in download when "x86" is selected.
