You use internal Office update (menu -> file -> account -> update options -> update now) ?
Internet is working and firewall doesn't block microsoft content delivery network (officecdn.microsoft.com.edgesuite.net) ?

For testing, you could use option CHANGE OFFICE UPDATE-PATH (SWITCH DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL) in O2016RTool.
To update the installed version, just select the same distribution channel. Then all settings are set and update gets
started by O206RTool.

 

Interesting. I'll give that a try. I also noticed that I have a 32bit version and now I'm trying to uninstall it to install x64 version but it says Something went wrong. Tried as well with the Fix it tool and it fails to uninstall. Any tips on what can I do?

Never mind, i managed to fix it

is there a reason why when I open say, Word and go to File>Account the product page only says Office and it doesn't show which products are installed. Before it used to show all the icons and there was an option to change product key. Now I don't have any of that just the logo Office. I downloaded using O2016RTool

Visio 2016 cannot open after upgrade to the latest version of Insider Fast Ring 7611.1000, does anyone has the same issue?

Option is a little misleading, I think it should read something to this effect "CREATE MEDIA OR INSTALL OFFICE 2016 SUITE/SINGLE APPS"

Also, are all the files in the folder 16.0.xxxx.xxxx needed?

I download office 2016 16.0.7629.6925 en-US x64 , but can't install in Windows 10 10586.
At the start of the installation, pop up the following interface, installation is stopped.

Couldn't install
We're sorry,we had a problem installing your Office program(s).
Is your internet connection working? Do you have enough free space on your main hard drive?
Please try installing again after you've checked the above.
Go online for additional help.
Error Code:30029-1011(0)

Change to 16.0.7616.1000, installation is successful.
