I deleted my O.2016 install, then redo the install using JAT.

It still doesn"t activate ("activation failed" when i try to activate Office in JAT).
I have now the OSPP + OSPPREARM in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16.
Version "Office16ProPlusR_Grace_edition".

I have a file named SLERROR.XML in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16.

Reason for this "misbehaviour":

1.) Windows 7 is used and
2.) Office Preview from MS-Preview-Homepage was installed

Using 1.) and 2.) together = Office cannot be KMS activated!! That's because Microsoft delivers the
smaller Professional only (without Plus) version as Preview and not the full featured ProfessionalPlus.
This confuses a later install of version ProfessionalPlus.

JATDevice must be finetuned to handle this special condition.

For new setups the following is valid:
If JATD is used for Download, Install, Conversion and Activation then all is well, because the correct
version = ProfessionalPlus is always downloaded.

I logged all download activities of the Office 2016 installer and found out that v32.cab (16399 bytes) was missing in the subdirectory Data. The content of this CAB-file is:
1. v32.hash and
2. VersionDescriptor.xml

As the existing CAB-file v32_16.0.4229.1009.cab in the DATA-subdir includes exactly the same two files as the missing v32.cab, "v32_16.0.4229.1009.cab" only has to be renamed to "v32.cab" and then the offline installer is working properly.

Summary:
Error 30101-1011 is raised due to an incorrect filename !

After I had the same issuses when trying to activate Office 2016 in JAT, I activated successfully within a few seconds with KMSAuto Lite Portable v1.2.1 in this thread here (at the bottom of the post):

But I didn't get, why it is working out of the box on most systems without errors and not on your's.
On all my test environments no renaming/copying of v32.cab in DATA folder was needed.

Something on your system must be different. Rather strange.... Anyway, we won't identify the reason.
Fix will be included in next JATD release.

UPDATE:
I wanted to understand the problem and so I just tested again using en-US/x86 & x64, de-DE/x86 & x64
and fr-FR/x86 & x64. On every download both files "v32.cab" & "v64.cab" and "v32_16.0.4229.1009.cab"
& "v64_16.0.4229.1009.cab" will be downloaded and are put in the DATA-folder. I assume the same on all
other languages.

So I don't know what to fix, because all needed files will be downloaded and are put in the right folder.
Something (Antivirus-Program?) on your system must "take care" of v32.cab and "let it vanish" after
download.

 

The Offline installer stopped working immediately after starting the setup because he didn't find v32.cab in the Data-folder. After connecting to the internet and restarting the Offline installer v32.cab was downloaded.

So the main question is: Why does the offline installer search for v32.cab in the Data-folder and not for v32_16.0.4229.1009.cab - and consequently does download v32.cab but not v32_16.0.4229.1009.cab ?
Unfortunately the offline installer OfficeC2RClient.exe isn't a .NET assembly otherwise it would be possible to decompile the installer and figure out by studying the C# source if the installer is searching for v32.cab in some special cases but in most cases for v32_16.0.4229.1009.cab.


UPDATE:
Neither v32.cab nor v64.cab nor v64_16.0.4229.1009.cab are existing in my Data-folder after JATD-download is finished ! Only v32_16.0.4229.1009.cab !

Offline installer only requires v32.cab on my system.

My OS: Win10 PRO x64 (German)
Office: 16.0.4229.1009_de-DE_x86

In my "special" case obviously not all required CABs were downloaded.
And i cannot image that something "takes" care of v32.cab on my system, because after restarting the offline installer this file was successfully downloaded and unpacked ...

Note:
Only Windows Defender is installed on my system and everytime before a file is deleted by Windows Defender I have to commit it.

 

v64* files are downloaded when x64 architecture is selected.

The file is downloaded by JATD. No clue, why it vanished on your system.
Tested with Windows 10 10240 and Windows 7 Pro. All ok. No fix needed.

Yes, I clicked "start_setup.cmd" again after I connected to the internet !
Then v32.cab was downloaded by the offline installer "OfficeC2RClient.exe".
Why v32.cab was not existing in the Data-folder after JATD-download was finished that's what I want to find out tomorrow ...
