    I just upgraded 7077x64 to 7100x64 w/o any issues. No different than any other upgrade. YMMV.

    Same here. "cversion.ini" files shows that it was marked as 7077.

    Same for me. Regular upgrade from 7077x64 to 7100x64. On two machines.

    cversion.ini on the disc has

    [HostBuild]
    MinClient=7077.0
    MinServer=7000.0

    no need to mod or copy the contents to other bootable media or source to mod the file.

    I have to use this trick to upgrade my PC from buid 7068 to 7100. Those who are using 7077 will not have any problem.
    Thank OP for this useful trick :-D

    it seems like the code base for 7077 is the same as 7100 which gives validity to the rumors that 7077 and 7100 are one in the same.

    I did a fresh install on one machine running x64 and am doing a straight forward upgrade on an x86 machine. No problems.:)

    I did the upgrade on C, then a clean install on D, both went well. Now I have two HDs to play with. Life is good in 7100 Land.
