I want to use Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 as a desktop OS. That's ok, one can do it easily. BUT. How can I activate it? I saw an application which would insert the keys one-by-one and list how much activation do you have with them and so on..but that forum is down.

Hope someone can help me out!

All you would need to do is add the keys to the main default list which is the default keys which are added on the installation of any MS software and activate it....
However if you wanted to be even easier you could just use the SLMGR to do what you want to do with a few cmd prompt commands...
which is to say you would have to punch in the following:
    CD C:\Windows\System32
SLMGR.VBS -ipk: (mak key that you have goes here with no space)
SLMGR.VBS -ato (this will activate the key in question)
    that should about do it....

So option 1 is the VAMT 2.0 tool which has a GUI or option 2 which is the slmgr.vbs....
