An experience to share. I had my old Gigabyte ga-z87x-ud3h and need NVME. So, as I need a modified BIOS, ¿why not add a SLIC certif?. At the end, it worked beautiful. But, I've learnt that it need to be done in TWO steps. First add nvme. Flash, get a new readeverithing file, and only then modify the previously modded BIOS adding SLIC. Otherwise, XSDT & RSDT will remain "ALASKA" and SLIC will not work. Thanks to the creators of Phoenixtool. I love my "NEW OLD computer"

This is an old thread, I know, but for anyone experiencing this annoyance and headache, the answer for me was to *NOT* use a network drive. That's right: executable and bios should both be on a local drive. YMMV, but for me, this caused less F*** bombs immediately.
