    Still it doesn' work!
    And i'm still bothered by the fact that whenever i open one of those modified bios files (either v 1.13 or 1.19) with Phoenix Bios Mod Tool...it says the same thing: Complete SLIC (2.0), Pubkey and marker (2.1)...as if these files haven't been modified at all! Doesn't it show u the same thing?! What do u make of this?!

    lucserp, can you check your bios, & tell me if it still contains a product #, serial #, and uuid #? If they are blank, ffff..., or 000... then you've overwitten some laptop specific tables that aren't suppose to be touched when you flash from dos, or windows.. yet they've been overwritten by you when you ran the flasher w/ a "loader" loaded in memory. You'll notice you have a 192 byte slic table, which should be 374 bytes, however THAT table can not have any more info added. If you run rw everything, the rw file will be incomplete, it's all right. just rename the 192 byte slic table to slac (default) or oems... and add the 374 slic table.. but you MUST use the "incomplete" rw file that you just created. if the incomplete designation bothers you, just add the additional 182 bytes to the rw file, but it will do nothing as that table cannot be written more. hope this sheds some light on the matter... NEVER flash your bios in windows with a loader loaded, especially if your running the x64 flasher, it's asking for trouble. The mods that Busykid508 & others created will no longer work on YOUR laptop, but only laptop that were flashed properly to start with. Some Laptop unique factory installed table are gone, so the memory address locations has shifted out of place.

    Unable to reintegrate

    Hi All,

    I tried using this tool modifying this Sony Vaio CR23G bios, http :// w ww.sony.com.sg/support/download/257990/product/vgn-cr23g/sectionfirst?subpage=detail but when building the new bios, tool says UNABLE TO REINTEGRATE MOD_5100.ROM. Can anyone please tell me what is wrong? Or anyone had a good heart to modify the bios for me? Happy new year to all and thank you.

    Delete the old PO10S180.FD ?

    Hi,I try to mod my insyde bios and I think I got It to work.
    Have not try to flash it yet.
    When I'm done should I delete the old PO10S180.FD file?
    the new one is PO10S180_SLIC.FD and are in the same folder.
    before flashing with InsydeFlash.exe?

    Many thanks.

    Open up platform.ini file in notepad

    Find [Others] and when found, change DisableCompare=0 to DisableCompare=1

    It Should look like this below:

    [Others]
    DisableCompare=1

    Then reflash the bios as before.
