How to wipe DELL SLIC?

    same issue, cannot get rid of Dell SLIC (trying to flash with HP SLIC) no loader...

    Same. Trying to flash with Toshiba slic and it won't even flash the bios. =X

    SLIC dump tool shows DELL but saving current bios via Gigabyte @BIOS tool and opening in Award SLIC mod tool shows HP. WTF

    Do you have win7 oem activated installed? If yes, what is your activation status?

    You probably have the same problem I had - you have DAZ Loader pre-installed.
    I recommend you download the latest DAZ Loader, open it in your windows, click Uninstall, restart after uninstallation is done.

    Indeed it does, most OEM ISOs seem to have that. I fixed it already, that's why I recommend this solution to usele33, he probably have the same type of ISO...

    If you installed 7 AFTER XP - which is the only way to dual boot without user intervention - AND your 7 DVD was one of the "pre-activated" ones from the net THEN you can have a loader which MAY be the reason why you see the SLIC.

    The fact it shows up in XP is probably irrelevant as 7s loader takes over the boot process - I'm not sure on this - BUT the only other answer is your flash failed.

    Give the 100 MB system partition a drive letter temporarily in 7 and look for a loader in it - this will resolve the issue.
