There're plenty of other options, indeed, besides "truthinjection" you may try WoW6/7, or "old good" bootmgr patch, or the newest pure mbr patch (which is missing on this forum for some reason), or even Enterprise version with WZT's pseudo-KMS activator.
@ Jinje I guess you didn't read my earlier posts. It's not that the new one has a flaw it's that the old one had a flaw which was corrected for other hardware (non-Intel). By that I mean the older one works for this guy, it add's a SLIC but it may break other tables in the process because it's not a "good" SLIC placement and with WAT installed he doesn't pass activation due to the bad SLIC placement. WAT from my testing does check the SLIC's position for emulation and it also will flag some systems based on the branding, it's unfortunate but I thought about this from the start and it's the reason I first placed brand specific SLIC's and certificates with a loader while everyone else was using static files.
LOL, no I haven't had time to read them all. So your saying it only passes WAT on some machines, Gotcha
That version yes, it was kind of forceful in the older builds where as in the newer ones it plays nice the best it can. If it wasn't for the SLIC placement being off it could probably work *if* theres no branding check done against Intel from the WAT update. Nice of PMR to help the guy out though, props to you for that (@ PMR).
So why isn't he using RemoveWAT ? I assume that is already off the table or this would be a short conversation ?
Been suggested, same with ChewWGA but he really wanted the genuine status without modifying system files a whole lot... well thats from what I understand after reading various posts. My one suggestion was to stick with the version that adds a SLIC and simply not install the WAT update, it wouldn't have effected system updates or anything really. Then again would MS force feed the WAT update to everyone via SP1 anyway? Can't say for sure but it adds allot of time into saving up for a licence, well that or in this case getting one for free if PMR feels a little bad for you
I didn't realise that Intel mobos were so problematic. Lesson learned, no more intel mobos, they are hard to OC and hard to mod. Thanks..
The major problem is that there is no intel-slic so there is no guarantee that u pass online genuine check
Of Course You're right,me too currently using an intel MB,I was fed up with that,I would some time rather think of putting it in a Dustbin,Bcoz no loaders nothing is working on it,What to do $$ will not allow me to do that... PMR really saved me,I would say a countless thanks to him..
