Well I never said I would completely stop it, I've just dropped it for unknown time coz reallocating x/rsdt is really really difficult for a "softmod". Btw... thanks for ur feedback
Thanks for the info..... EDIT: the provided tools patches ntkrnlmp.exe & winload.exe but I always thought bootmgr checks for "valid" winload before it gets loaded??
UPDATE: This driver was tested on x86 and x64 installations of Windows 7 and passed WAT ( kb971033 )! Slic encryption, etc.. is on the way so... this is proved to be an alternative to the other loaders and bios mods.
secr9tos Slic encryption for the driver - that is great! also passed WAT for me on my real machine (windows 7 ultimate x86) btw- any news about reallocating x/rsdt? as you know it does not work on my windows 7 pro x64/x86 vm's.
Thanks for ur feedback Well it should work coz it overwrites BOOT ptr als last option btw.. the realloc of x/rsdt is still in progress but requires a lot of disassembling....
i tried the driver but SLIC_ToolKit_V3.2 didn't detect any slic- I have win 7 x64. And yes, and yes,i disabled driver signature enforcement to install the driver. any ideas?
Did u use Oem-Drv tool or Win7Ldr? If u used Oem-Drv tool than try Win7Ldr instead. Should the "error" still exist, post a screenshot from slic_dump_toolkit so I can see what went wrong.
i tried them both with the same results. When i use Win7ldr full installation i get an error(FATAL ERROR. failed to......) and if i only install the driver i get nothing. And the sluc dump tookit give me an error(Slic table not found)
Took a look on ur acpi tables which u posted at the other thread but this is a really strange problem if u ask me.... EDIT: is it an EFI bios?
I have One Question.. My Modem has two drivers... 1.FWP USB Modem 3197(modem driver) 2.FWP Diagnostics Interface 3197(Usb Driver) Bot the Ones are Not Digitally signed, even the latest ones.. Is there any way to sign these drivers.
