Sorry for being a bit dumb here. I have installed Win7, then activated with Daz and then validated on MS site. So is there anything else that needs to be done to make it genuine? I am able to do automatic updates and also got the "Get Window 10" notification. I may have activated with old daz. Should I do again with 2.2.2? I have activated with default settings, do I need to change anything?
You're fine . Windows Loader performs all actions needed. As long as the loader still works, leave it as is. The GWX Check (the notification you see in systray) only checks compatibility. So far no-one knows whether such systems will stay activated after the Upgrade. As Daz already stated several times, wait for GA and we all will know.

As long as the system is running win 7/8.1 it's free for a year doesn't matter about any key because once its activated its for life even for other methods ?
For sure, personally I couldn't be bothered with anymore preview stuff... the RTM will be more fun (activation-wise)
Yep, for that reason i skipped the Preview builds mostly so far, partially broken and still the old activation system.
Regardless activation will be hacked just in a matter of time . remember the old winXP genuine advantage, Slic mod , KMs activation even MS change the KMS server from 8.0 to 8.1? Hacker just like to give MS its money worth ha ha! Win 10 give it 2 months !
