WOW7 totally broke my Phenom II system (had to recovery via cmd) and it booted on my HP mini but according to RW-Everything no SLIC was added (no SLIC tab)

The very first time I installed wow7 I got a blank screen with the cursor blinking. Then I did a cold boot (turn off computer completely) and it worked. So try some boots and it might work. But wow7 does not work on every computer. Anyway, you can always remove it, either by running the repair with install cd or formatting. You won't damage your computer permanently.

You need to mention that if you edited install.bat to use drive R:, uninstall.bat will also need to be edited the same way for the uninstall to actually work.

    5. On wow7 folder you extracted, edit install.bat and uninstall.bat. Change the second line to:

FWIW, WoW7 also works on VMware v6.5.2.

Thanx it worked, also got the the blinking screen the first time. Just switch off the computer for a few secs longer and it works. :D

Is the wow7 not needed anymore after the activation ? So it's a one time deal ?

If you don't have a v2.1 SLIC in your BIOS, you will need to leave Wow7 installed or you will lose your activation. WoW7 is simply installing a v2.1 SLIC in memory so that Windows thinks you have one in your BIOS. There's no reason to be concerned about uninstalling it.

You just have to do this install procedure once. But you must leave wow7 there. If you remove it, windows will become unlicensed.

acerola, I have followed your guide and it still did not activate my win7. I edited the .bat's and once right clicked them and ran em under admin it wouldn't do anything.. just quickly opens and then closes? could you please upload your .bat's to me? My system reserved partition is drive letter :R. Thank you!

Exactly the same here, opens and closes quickly, nothing changes after reboot. There is no slic added.

Well my guess is, the Activation Toolkit is preventing the activation process in my case, had installed it and used a beta key, that key still remains on my system reinstalling the OS at this moment. Will post any details in 30 to 45 minutes.
