    Hi,

that's the Question. It is not Windows 7 specific, but i didin't know wherr it fits better.

Let's say update KB123456 causes troubles on my System. How can i prevent Windows permanently from trying to install it?

I have already googled, but did't find anything abount that. But I believe there must be a solution, especially for business customes.

    Solutions: Everywhere:Everytime

    I) Turn off Automatically Install Updates..

II) Check Updates Comptability Center constantly..

III) Once you spot an update that you suspect, choose hide this update..

This will make the update disappear from the list of updates to download, and will not make it appear unless you choose show hidden updates..

    One good method.. ;)

    Hope this helps..
