It does work "out of the box" in W8-1-0 (b16384). For W8-1-1 (b17031) you need the symbols (also b17031), so AeroGlass app could modify its behavior to provide Glass effect correctly. For removing watermark and popup, you need to register the AeroGlass application...
Wrong, you need to go of level lower and paste content of "symbols" folder to the created "symbols" folder.
This is correct mode to have Aero Glass on W8.1.1 x64: 1.Crate that folder called AeroGlass on C:\; 2.Inside crated folder create one named symbols; 3.paste these files 4.After that you need to copy and paste these in AeroGlass folder..NOT IN subfolder symbols: 5.Run the setup,it will ask you that folder allready exist do it any way... 6.Done! 7.Maybe a bugg? The step 4 should be avoided. You don't need those DLLs and EXE files, if you don't want to redownload the symbols again by yourself in future.
Yes,I reinstalled wihout step 4 and the results are the same...I don't like that watermark....but if this is price for have Aero Glass,so be!I can live with that watermark!
You can register the application and watermark and popup window will disappear + program will update the symbols automatically...
Create C:\AeroGlass, then drag 'n drop only the appropriate \symbols\ folder from moderates package into it. Installer should mention the already existing folder and ask to install anyway. Worked at first try here .
