[HowTo:] Working AeroGlass for W8-1-1 x64 x32

    this is what I am getting. a frustrating info on desktop. see below picture. How to remove it?

    I swear you are all trying too hard.

    Since BM made this, all I have done is replace the "DWMGlass.dll" file in my C:\DWM from the first Alpha until today and still use the now unsupported regedit origional launch method. I bought BM a couple of beers to let his code update the symbols by putting the donation file in the c:\dwm directory.

    I didn't update a thing from BM since I took update 1, and it just magically started working again, after the symbols were downloaded automatically.

    And, yes I could run symchk manually, but have not needed to since I gave BM what he deserves, just a little donation.

    Naturally, after upgrading to Update 1, you will want to re-run "UltraUXThemePatcher_2.2" to get the nice customised rounded theme going again with the shadow.

    I forget who to thank here for this, but It's my fav.

    If you don't have killed UAC by:

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"EnableLUA"=dword:00000000
    ...then you should install:
    1. OUTSIDE \Program Files\ or \Program Files (x86)\ directory
    2. to directory, which isn't using SPACES in its name
    (ideally by accepting the default folder \AeroGlass)

    ...otherwise you will be badly surprised after updating symbols is needed.

    BTW: It is same for Total Commander. :)

    (in Total Commander analogically) ...otherwise you will be badly surprised when installing plugins :)

    Default W8-1-1 theme (required for using AG atlas), default AeroGlass atlas... :)

    I donated today and got my license keys just fine for 2 machines. I donated 5 euros. His site does say that too low donations won't get keys.

    I can't see why would we miss the old Start button or Aero Glass in 8 ! 7 & 8 are totally different OSes. ! :confused:

    Hmm, after installing Windows8.1-KB2934018-x64 it aparently stopped working. Tried to download new symbols, but seems i'm getting the same as the one in your package. Any idea?
