Why I get a "DWM Incompatible" dialog every times after windows boots? I have download the symbols. So I just click cancel, then the areoglass works.
Because the Symbols are for fully updated system... ...you should seek your system32 directory for versions of dwm.exe, dwm*.dll (3), udwm.dll files, then check the Symbols versions... ...or even better...copy those files (5) from your system32 into separate directory and cast the Symbols redownload upon this created directory...
Tried it out and it works no problem !! But not realy satisfied about the way it looks on windows 8.1 anyway thx for the good work
What do you mean fully updated system? Clear install using "win8.1 with update.iso"? I have update my system to "win8.1 update1" using windows updates. There is no more updates when I checked. Whatever I download the 5 symbols files. No "DWM Incompatible" dialog anymore. Thanks.
Nope! You should donate if and only if you want to support the development. But if you don't want to support the development, then you should not complain that developers won't support running AeroGlass on your computer
It's simple, you either donate or you don't. If you choose not to, you will have to do everything manually to maintain it like updating symbols etc... And you will have a popup and desktop watermark, neither of which you should be complaining about because it's not like bigmuscle is demanding money for this. All he asks is that if you like it and want to support development then donate and in return you get a better experience.
The thing I do not like about AeroGlass is that the Window title color is black, so you can never see the title itself and often the buttons. There needs to be a real conservative version of this nice app. Also, is there a way to remove the water and the clipboard machine number copy thingy?
