Ahh, new tool to play with, thanks... BTW: Cancel button in GUI tool reset values... I can recommend AG to everyone... ...I have only one minor issue in IE11 in W8-1-1 x64: sometimes, when "Save As... dialog" appears (by clicking on IE bottom-bar "Save As" command), the "Save As... dialog" blinks once or twice, but that is almost unimportant... @BigMuscle: As I have also Windows RT 8.0 with jail-break (desktop unsigned apps can be runned), there is a question, if you are able to compile AeroGlass for ARM platform too (both W8-0 and W8-1 versions)...
Using Cancel to reset values is the intention. It just resets all values to the state before changing anything. I have no experience with ARM platfom. I can try compiling it, but I cannot promise any results.
It says in Aero Glass GUI tool that Aero Glass effect can be disabled when PC/laptop is running low on battery. Does that mean that Aero Glass is very CPU intensive? It definitely suggests that... It doesn't seem to be taking much RAM or utilizing my CPU much, but my OS has been somewhat slower after Aero Glass installation, although I run Win8.1 x64 Pro (+ updated all the way) on i7 [email protected], 16GB 2200Mhz RAM, 256GB SSD, GTX 780 Ti 3GB... Is it just a negative placebo effect?
Of course, the more things you render to the screen to more the performance will be degraded. But I doubt that it will be something you could notice. Option to disable glass on battery has been added just to fully copy the options of Aero Glass in Windows 7. CPU/RAM usage will be hardly noticeable - maybe a few tens of bytes when you open many windows. Video RAM usage will be a few MBs, depending on your display setup and resolution. This thing is much more optimized than in Win7. There is just one known bug when having multiple displays where each one is handled by incompatible Direct2D device. In such situation, you can notice jerking when rendering a window which is visible in both screens.
I'd like to install Aero Glass 1.3.1 on Windows 8.1 Pro x64 update 3 aka November Rollup (KB3000850). Anybody knows how to remove watermark and pop-up message? Sorry for my bad english

Re-posting is indeed a nice strategie ... effectively you're asking for a 'crack' in a forum which doesn't allow such requests/discussions. And creator is a member here . CLEVER! .
Actually there is one issue, where even donating user can have problem: v1-3-1 no longer accepts key filename "license.key", so you have to rename it to "donation.key".
Yeah noticed it, still no reason to ask that way . MDL here, not any insane forums . No-one cares what people do in their spare time.
Is there a symbol pack you can provide for windows 10 build 9926 that works with AeroGlass ? I have been trying for myself but I just can't fix it at the moment My system runs wild if I use my own fixed symbols from microsoft for build 9926 Greetz Base
I am sorry, I have decided to skip W10. If the downloading of symbols with symchk for W10b9926 DLLs doesn't solve the glitch, you have to wait for BigMuscle guy to update the thing.
Oke did symchk all the files and they are correct ! But you are probbely right I have to wait for an update from BigMuscle
