I recently purchased a Compaq F730US with the Phoenix Bios, and did not know that hp has been whitelisting cards selectively, so I bought a card to replace my broadcom card (I detest broadcom). Sadly, modding bios is just not something I feel comfortable doing and was told that this would be the best place to seek assistance. I purchased an atheros based gigabyte card: GN-WI01GT No idea what I would have to do. I also run linux, so yeah, that brings another problem to light . Anyone willing to help? Thanks
