HP dv7-2150eb install retail windows 7 with upgrade key possible ?

    My brother has a upgrade key from windows 7. Now I am scared he has to install the bloated vista again from the HP recovery and then upgrade with his windows 7 key.

    Is there a other way possible legally? Technically he owns Windows 7. It's just plain stupid the way he has to install windows 7. I'd say get Daz' Windows Loader and do it that way.

    dont bother with vista, just do i complete new install (not upgrade) from windows 7 dvd, dont enter any key for this just install, then once windos 7 is up and running, from within windows 7 run setup again and enter your upgrade windows 7 key and thats it. job done... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    My last option would be SLIC modding the 2150eb.
