Sorry if this is the wrong section. I was going to post in the "Virtualization" section but that seems to be geared toward virtualizaion programs (VMware, virtualBox, etc).

Can anyone who has one of these (dv7-3060us) please check in the BIOS to see if it has an option to enable/disable "Virtualization Technology"?

I already know that the AMD m600 processor it comes with is capable of virtualization but the option needs to be available in the BIOS as well. I want to make sure it has the capability before I purchase and HP has been of no help in the matter....

    to do this:
    -press "esc" at boot screen.
-press "F10" to enter BIOS settings
-navigate to "System Configuration" using left/right arrows on keyboard
-see if there is a "Virtualization Technology" enabled/disabled option

Please PM me or post here with the answer.

    Thanks:D
