Great work Mazzif.You have done a lot for the communauty.Very nice job. Lately i had 5 Probook 450 G2,8 Probook 450 G3,3 Probook 450 G4. What I did is replacing only the bios region with the corresponding hp support bios update;same version or higher ;this is enough to delete password and dmi data, keeping everything else same(gbe,me...).If the system is booting from OS or if I can use usb port to run windows 10 based Winpe x64,I make a copy of dmi data using bios cofiguration utility,and then restore it back (BiosConfigUtility GET;BiosConfigUtility SET),that makes things easy. If not,I lose all dmi data;then i use the same utility to get a copy of config.txt that i fill manually from the bios backup.bin opened with HxD.

Hello to all Comunity and hello to the owner of this thread Mazzif This forum is my last chance so i decide to ask you guys if this is posible or mission imposible. I liked one HP EliteBook Folio 9470m the problem is that the Laptop has locked BIOS and bootloader it is fully functional in perfect mint condition like new i love the specs of that particular machine but this Locked BIOS and bootloader just stop me of buying it. My Simple Question is: It is posible to be permanently unlocked/reseted i to have full control of that PC or not. If there is an option Please let me know your opinion. I don`t use smc. I use the method presented by mazzif in post1. If you have enough technical knowledge and skills, you can do it yourself. If not... find someone to do it for you.
Just removed the BIOS-Password from HP 820 G2 (following the instructions in post1). After "padding" the 16MB chip and switching the machine on, there was a message concerning the network card, then all the necessary data was automatically rewritten to BIOS chip. Didn´t have to use windmifit at all. Nice and easy..... Again - thanx a lot mazzif!

Hi Salim! i believe the other bios might work if we add the serial and few other datas to the .bin also im almost sure it has to do with MPM manufacturing mode needs to be unlock .. on the working chips try turning off in the working chips bios options like intel AMT and secureboot and reset TPM security then try the chips on other laptop. buy a spi programmer .. ch341a usually works. check to see if bios chip is 1.8volt most are 3.3. you need to read chip with it might have to desolder it from board. go to youtube type spi programmer or ch341a and you will see all u need
