Hello. Looking for a little advice for a HP 840 G1, password BIOS, with it in a BIOS restore loop. Reading everything in post 1 i believe i should be able to do this without issue (or using the post about using a padding file). Should i be able to just use the instructions from post 1, and should restore itself after removing the password. Or would i need to remove the password, and flash the chip, then flash the HP BIOS from the HP site on top of that? Any ideas on how i should go about this? Appreciate any help or suggestions.
2nd option is the way.. original.bin can be repaired. ME clean and bios region replace w same version. i run a fbook groups/biosrepair (im checking in here fixing pwd breach warning and deiced to view forum.. Arnold)

Also, they told me, they don´t have a motherboard for me So if you can help, it would be appreciated Can you generate the smc.bin file, please? How can I use the file to unlock my BIOS-password? Is the thread still up to date? does anyone know how I can get a bios password out of a Zbook 15 g without having to buy a Jtag? Master Password should have been done with this version. ?
Hi, Purchased an HP 8570w 2nd hand a while back and just found out it has a BIOS password set Tried contacting HP and basically their answer is "buy a new computer". Is there any way to reset the BIOS password? Factory reset maybe?
