So I've bricked my elite book by running HPs BIOS update. Super pissed and now my work computer is dead. I've looked all over the internet and have tried several things. Holding down the Windows key + B does nothing and the laptop does not beep. I've seen posts about placing the BIOS on a thumb drive to restore but I'm having problems. All the BIOS updates from HP's site are exe files and cannot be extracted. What am I doing wrong. Can someone help me out? It would be greatly appreciated.
