Hello all, I got yesterday, from my job, an HP ENVY TouchSmart 17-j098SF. This computer has already been used by another person who formated the HP hidden and recovery partitions (unfortunately, he was using Linux...). Well, I could reinstall Windows 8 and then, I updated my drivers from the officiel HP website. Also, I updated the BIOS from the same page. While updating the BIOS, I noticed that the graphics became unstable and after rebooting, the screen stayed completely black ! So, I guessed that I had a BIOS issue, as I red in some topics here. I made an USB UEFI but I havo no way to download the files to put in BIOS/current, new and previous as I have no recovery partition, and I couldn't find the files I need on the HP SoftPaq. Please help me...I cannot even work without this PC :-(
