i had dv6-2026es with 2 leds (Caps lock and Num lock) continuously what i understand form that is BIOS Corruption i made test without RAM and got Beeps (RAM Beep) the main problem is when i try to Recover Bios (knowing methods) i hear the beeps (5) after stop beeping (and reading from USB) for few seconds and i got 1 beep more (maybe 3 time same 1 beep) after that no beeping and no shuting down ... i try every method with .BIN / .FD i got the right ID under my Battery 3637-XXX so i name the files like this (3637.bin / 3637.fd / A.BIN) also try it with other IDs 3635,3636,..... no luck also with older BIOS version (from F03 to F13) try with HP_TOOLS folders no luck i know that no need to have .SIG file

Hello, I did it and does not work. It was four .bin file, the first put the Phoenix. I have two files: 01666F66.BIN.DEC, RSA.SIG I renamed this: 01666.BIN, 01666.SIG 2 files copied to Current floder Plug the USB stick, hold win + B and power on. The screen lights up, bip, bip, bip...and shuts down. I would not touch it. Turn on, 3 seconds, shuts down . Turn on, the screen lights up, shuts down. And this repeats... What have I done wrong?
try no power and batt.. hold power button 30 seconds to drain power from system. now try the procedure ( i hope u actually read it or u will never get it right) take hdd and dvd out of laptop.
It Worked! Make usb diagnostic uefi first: sp52407.exe This program is bad, do not use! Because it does not create folders update... Use this and create the entire folder structure: sp60202.exe Folder structure: Hewlett-Packard/Bios/Current,New,Previous /Bios update /SystemDiags That was the problem...
