Hi,,,,,,i have an hp probook 640 g1....i dont know the bios password...when i start it send me..."Systen board 00A.... What can i do?....i´'ve tried too many ways......please help me !!!!
Yes, of course I've tried several times. The latest, the older one... it's the same. I can even access the bios but obsiously there is a problem with thé power management. I will appreciate an help on how decrypt the bios and manage to reflash it completely. Thanks in advance
needs special hewprsa.dll added to phoenixmodtool folder. but with this one u can choose copy bios to a folder..
thanks LatinMcG for your answer but the hewprsa.exe is present in the phoenixtool folder, and it still doesn't produce the fw .bin.dec & .sig I've managed to extract the Current FW located in the EFI partition (and the backup FW). Is there any lock to prevent reflash? I can't explain why i can't reflash my BIOS. I suspect problems with Management Engine. can you help me?
Hello. I tried the steps at the beginning of this post, but still having no luck. Blank screen and two flashes of the cap lock and num lock. I have an HP TX2-1277nr with Windows 7. I downloaded the bios file from HP: sp46499.exe. I then extracted the file and got some Insyde Flash files with the 3045F25.fd file at the top. I tried using the phoenix tool, but it does not give me the .sig or .bin file. I tried renaming the fd file to 3045.fd. I also tried 3045.bin and 3045.rom (tips from another forum). I place the files onto a FAT32 usb drive. Removed battery and CMOS and power cable. Held power button for a few secs and reinstalled CMOS battery. Held Windows + B while plugging in power cable and still holding while pressing power button. I get a long beep until I release the Windows + B keys. Then a series of beeps: 1 beep, a few seconds then two beeps, then one until nothing. While the beeps are happening, the light on the usb flash drive flashes slowly, then then makes a series of flashes, then nothing. The laptop stays on but the cap/num lock still flashes and nothing happens. I tried doing all this while removing the hard drive and one memory stick, then both memory sticks and also with everything connected. The steps on HP site are different from what I get from the actual file. HP shows some BIOS utility that seems pretty easy to load files onto the USB. Instead I get some Insyde Flash thing that does not seem useful to me. I am running out of ideas. I am obviously not doing something right and need some guidance. Any ideas?
It works but there is no advanced menu. Can you convert camiloml? donovan? The laptop cannot see disks (IDE, AHCI .....) Thank you
The Software and roms are pretty straightforward, plenty of utubes on that. Word of advice, don't use a clip, it is best to solder the chip to the programmer. I struggled using the clip for months before just buying fresh chips and soldering/programming.
use asprogrammer 1.4.1 from github read broken.bin and save.. then open new bin and write. dont forget pin 1 to pin 1 on programmer 25xxx
