    Exactly, not standard UEFI too. HP proprietory??

    we need to bin the crappy hp ahci orom and the hp raid orom

    i would kill for the intel orom's

    Correct, Proliant BIOS are (so far) unmodable, and I expect it to stay so (due to digital signature and the fact that there is less & less need for mods - who would spend time?)

    Really sorry to necro post but I have one of these and need Win Server at least temporarily. I was thinking Server 2012 r2 with SLIC 2.3. I'm open to 2016 and even essentials versions. "the fact that there is less & less need for mods" does this refer to KMS server emulation or a loader? What options are out there? SLIC mod bios just seems so clean and safe...

    G8 are digitally signed, nothing to do with just a checksum (like it used to be in G6)
