Try to run installation of driver as admin and compatible for windows 7! This operation works with logitech's drivers that not works with a normal installation procedure (double click on exe's file)! Hi Wire1111 & 100: Thanks for your reply...when I tried to install OJP8500vA909_Basic_14 or OJP8500vA909_Full_14...in both cases...with Compatibility Mode Windows 7...I had a Fatal Error during installation process When I had Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits....OJP8500vA909_Full_14 worked great with HP Officejet Pro 8500 Printer and Scanner...but with Windows 8 Pro 64 bits....maybe...I need to wait until HP update the drivers. What do you think? Thanks TecMan
IIRC you can unzip the setup file with 7 zip, and make all the MSI's / EXE's in the main folder run in Win7 Compatibility mode and it installs fine. There are only 3 you need to make compatible, but I can't remember which offhand. That worked a treat for me with out HP 7500 (E910). Hope that helps!
Hi Antarell: Thanks for your reply...I changed all msi & exe files to Windows 7 Compatibility Mode for OJP8500vA909_Basic_14...and I had the same Fatal Error, when I tried to install Thanks anyway TecMan
