I bought a PC from a pawnshop with Vista Premium pre installed but with all the bloatware crap that came on it initially. I recall a program I used some months back that allowed me to insert a flash drive and run said program to get the activation info from a Vista install -- Then I simply reinstalled the same Vista version without entering a key and reinserted the flash drive and ran the 2nd part of the program and had a clean Vista install. I would like to do this for this laptop as well but do not recall the program... Any ideas??? With that said seems to have been a lot going on since then and I read a thread that says since the system is already pre installed with Vista I may simply be able to just upgrade and use a Vista Ultimate OEM key and be fine. Is this correct? Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
